Hey! I am 16 and have never kissed a girl, I cant talk to a girl and most girls would never go out with me.Why?I've tried everything and I am being very positive .I know I am not gay and there is nothing wrong with that btw.But I think I am missing out here and I am going madder :mad: and lonlier by the minute.What do you think?

dont worry bout it, ya might not be that popular at moment with the girls but in a year or two when y leave school and start gooin out you'll soon meet loads of girls who are interested in ya, in the meantime just enjoy havin no major worries, mess around wit your mates. anyway, when girls see that your a fun fella to be round they'll wanna be round ya

I didn't kiss a girl until I was 18 and didn't get much further until 19 (not actually saying a whole lot ).

If you feel under pressure that your class mate X did Y with Z, you can be reasonably sure that he is exaggerating.

Don't sweat it so much, your sorta at the mercy of your hormones at the moment so that might be increasing the pressure a bit. but i'm sure you know how to sort that!

Mate there are people posting on Boards.ie who are 35 and never kissed a girl. I wouldn't worry :-)

You are probably just in an atypical Irish secondary school where you see the same people day in days out. For most people who are not high on the social order in school, going to college is where they start to flourish (happened to me). So I wouldn't worry about it. Until then if you really want a girlfriend or something maybe start looking into outside school stuff that involves girls, like drama soc or something.

I was 18 when I first kissed a girl, and was bout a year ago (am nearly 24 now) that I kissed I guy... have spent the last 12 months coming to terms with the fact that I'm bi-curious.

I was 16 and on holidays abroad when my first time, no biggy, im now 20 and i havent been properly with a girl in all those 4 years but your definately not missing out on anything.

Id love to meet a girl but then i think if i force it to happen then its not right, wait till someone comes along. It will happen.

I was 19 before I kissed a girl properly!

Try not to get worked up over it and analyse it all too much because that just makes it all worse You should have seen me when I was 18, if a girl talked to me I thought we were going to get married and have loads of kids and.... etc! :-D

Act, I think I decided when I was around 17 that I'd stop worrying about it so much and start worrying again if by the age of 60 I still hasn't kissed a girl! ;-)

don't be too harsh on yourself mate. just keep plugging away, lots of people don't kiss people til they are 18 or 20.

it usually turns out that the one guy who wasn't with a girl til later on ends up becoming a one-man shag factory in college or on nights out.

I was quite like you when I was 16. I had this notion that girls were these creatures who were beyond me. I'm 19 now and I have never been successful with the ladies. I'm think the reason is confidence. In my early teenage years I hung around with these group of girls and they were f**king bitches to me. After that my first expereince of really being around girls I had this notion that girls were beyond me and complete bitches. It was never true but in the back of mind for a few years this was the case. When I was 16 I had a brief fling with a girl but it was nothing serious and went nowhere so basically at the age of 19 I've never had a proper girlfriend.

I get so many people esp. family asking about why i don't have one which does my head in and makes me feel like a loser. Now I'm a good looking bloke (excuse my confidence) with GSOH so in theory I shouldn't have any bother but the reasons why I've never had one was my confidence (I was very shy as a teenager), my perception of girls at that time and the fact that I went to an all boys school is a huge factor. Since I've worked in different places, started going to college and getting to know girls in general i would say that form being totally shy around girls in my teenage years I am more comfortable around females and i get on better with them than I do with blokes. Now nearly all of my mates are male so I don't socialise with girls nowhere near as much as would like so that is a big factor of why I still can't find a girl. Despite that I'm now well able to relate to girls I don't have any confidence in Pubs/Clubs to talk to them. I havent even smacked lips with a female for about 6 months now. Honestly I do crave to find someone and it does my head in when I see all of these minging blokes with these hot girls. I sometimes wonder if I'll ever find the right girl and this bothers me.

The bottom line dude is that you're not the only one out there in a similar position to you. Girls are f**king amzing. They are so much sounder than males and my advice is just be yourself around girls and don't try to impress them because they sense desperation. You have so many years ahead of you and you will find someone by being yourself.

I was 14 when I lost my virginity. its not a nice age to loose it. Becuase you get hornier at a younger age. I think a reasonable ago to loose it would be 18 nearly 19

Hey, I can be like that - I'm 33. I still get the feeling of "girls are bitches, women are even bigger bitches" feeling quite often. Now, I'm the cynical one (see the rest of my post history). You can learn to treat women as human beings. Treating them as sex objects / bitches doesn't get you very far with most of them.

A lot of it's down confidence, finding someone you like and carrying your huge testicles in the wheelbarrow (complete with invincible testicle protection) in front of you and say: "Hi ...." (you need to work out the rest of the sentence yourself)
