ehy just out of curiousity, does anyone know if DCU have got hold of any decent cluster or supercomputer yet?
i did physics there back in 92-95, and im just wondering what the state of play is with any large computational ability.

Yeah RB built a cluster of about 30-40 boxes a couple of years back. Dunno what the specs of it are like.

    thats it there :)

" The cluster is made of 24 old lab machines (Dell PPro 180Mhz), connected over standard 10/100mb ethernet & a cisco switch - it's own network."
