    Sony EX-71's, around €30.

Not the loudest, but the isolation means they don't have to be.

    I heart mine.

Edit: Oh this is in Bargain Alerts, sorry I don't know where the cheapest is for them.

Best for your buck when it comes to low budget earphones

Try ebay too for those sony's. There are plenty of reviews on www.head-fi.org
spend at least €30, you have a player which gives top quality sound output, don't mess it up with cheap earphones.

You will probably use it more than your stereo and I bet you wouldn't think twice about spending €100+ for stereo speakers.

I have a pair of Sennheiser MX400's connected to my Creative Zen Xtra. They are well know as the best you can get in the €0-€50 price bracket.

You can get them in Maplin for €16. Thats the cheapest they go for.
Ive seen them in places like Virgin and HMV for over €30.

So three people advise you to get EX71 and one says get MX400, so you decide on the MX400

You get them tomCo? thinking of popping into maplins today to pick up a pair, but don't want to walk all that way to be disappointed!

Just picked up a pair of Sennheiser 550MX in Peats for the bargain of 30euro.

The lad thought they were the same as the 400's but with volume control.
    Which were about 24.

I think this 30euro represents good value considering on advancedmp3players.co.uk they cost 24£ and then about 4£ delivery.

To be honest I've never had a good set of earphones before, and I couldn't believe the quality difference between these boyos and the standard iriver ones that came with my h120
