So, who's getting Sky+ with a NI subscription card?

Now that the arrival of RTE 1, 2 and TG4 on NI subscription cards looks imminent, who here is feeling left out in the cold with our crappy ROI subscription cards?.

Sure, I have an FTV card, but I can't set my SKY+ to tape C4, can I?.
And, if I went to the trouble of getting a Uk subscription, I wouldn't be able to record "Prime time" on RTE :D .

So, it looks like the perfect solution is at hand.
Go track down a Sky Digital dealer that lives right on the border of ROI/NI, ask him to set you up a SKY+ subscription from NI.

Voila, you will get all the English channels you need your FTV card for and our own RTE and TG4 all recordable direct to hard drive.

If they thought the demand for FTV cards was alot, wait till people get wind of this.
Is there anyone else thinking along these lines?.

I've already ordered Sky+ on my ROI sub, but can I still put in my FTV card and record on ITV/C4?

TG 4 currently available in the North when you manually tune it in.

I thought you needed to have your phoneline connected to avail of the recording facility on sky+. So if I get a NI subscription surely they wonder why I'm using a ROI phone number. Or am I missing something?
