    I see The Arcade Fire are on tour of the UK but not Ireland ...love to see them in vicar street or whelans ,,, cant stop playing Funeral....dam good album. ! a real mix of Pixies,the smiths,modest mouse etc ....even The Frames (Glen should give this disc a good listen.. may get him out of the dark hole i feel they have got themselves into )

    Has anyone seen them live on their travels ,,in Canada or US?

    damn you! I thought they were touring ireland with that title! I started listening to em today (borrowed a cd off a friend) and they're good. I'd definately pay to see em.

    Yea funeral has been growing on me quite a lot lately, would love to see them live in a small venue. What dark hole do you think the frames are in? Burn the maps was a damn good album!

    Great band. i wouldn't want to show any disrespect by comparing them to other bands, they've made an album that's quite different to anything else out at the moment.
    i'm saying this from the point of view of the album, i think it would be quite easy to pick out individual songs that would remind someone of a perticular band. pity i won't be seeing them live for a while
