Lidl DVD HD recorder for €449

Lidl are offering a DVD/hard disk recorder next week http://www.lidl.ie/ie/index.nsf/pages/c.o.oow.20050404.p.Recorder The brand is Targa, does anybody know what the specs are? Will it work with a NTL digital STB, Can it record TV straight to its HDD like Sky+ What about an online Program guide? Is it good value?

i think liteon do one thats cheaper and is dvd+ compatible as well

The Lidl site is a bit skimpy on detail. More at Targa online
The 1-4 hour recording time is for recording to DVD. Up to 95 hours on HDD. I'd been looking for something like this. Was considering building a PC for Freevo but this is a much neater solution and competitively priced. Much better value than 1000 euro for Sony HDD. Could be interested...
