No. The same goes for any other program you record and later downgrade your subscription.

On the plus side, you can record something now that you don't have the subscription to watch, but if you upgrade your sub later on to include that channel you can watch it then.

Not the case. Last time there was a free weekend with filmfour
I recorded Dark Water and Battle Royal 1 and was able to watch them WEEKS after the free weekend.
I would still have them but i had to reset my box just before christmas.

I even had one exampe of the box fcuking up and it let me watch a Box office movie months after i originally watched it.

Aye, you need a sky viewing card WITH a fully active subscription (ie. Value Pack or higher) otherwise you cannot see it. FTV sky card's don't allow access either. :p

No the box "remembers" you had the subscription at the time and so lets you access. If you want to prove this, record the freeviews on FilmFour during the day (advertisements maybe, but how and ever) and then try playing it back once a film comes on (and the channel goes into fully encrypted mode).

Sorry lads, I don't have Sky+ - I was going by a post that I read here a few months back. Maybe things have changed since then?
