    Hi all,
I need a bit of help.I'm hoping to fly out to Boston at the end of May but cheaply. Are the only airlines that do this route american airlines or aerlingus? Is E500/E600 a good price? I'd really appreciate it if anyone knew of other airlines that fly this route or could suggest the cheapest way to go about this trip.
    Thanks!

    Aer lingus is the cheapest.
500/600 is reasonably good for the whole trip.
I've made that trip several times.

Aer Lingus are the only direct flight between Dublin and Boston. You might get a slightly cheaper deal going via London or a city in the US and getting a connecting flight - but I don't imagine it would be that much cheaper, so you need to ask yourself is it worth the hassle for the sake of a few euro

Yeah Id say aer lingus are my best bet. Its just I live in cork so it doesnt matter to me whether its Shannon or Dublin I fly out of so thats why I had been looking into the Shannon-Boston flight with American Airlines however it seems about E100 more expensive than aerlingus so I might just stick with AerLingus...

American Airlines flight = Aer Lingus flight. They operate a codeshare on this route. Its the same plane, same time etc.. both have a certain percentage of seats on it and can sell at whatever price they want. Go with the cheapest.

Actually its not. AA are flying themselves on the route(Shannon-Boston) from this summer. Dublin to Chicago too.

me and my GF paid 470 euro each in january to travel to boston in may.
That was the cheapest price that week we booked, the following week the same tickets for the same flight were 100 euro cheaper. So it all depends really.
