    Lads wheres the best place in Ireland to buy a copy of FreeBSD and what's X like for it?

    Of course if anyones feeling generous you can post me a copy at Jesus care of the Pentagon.

    Not sure if it's the best place, but the only place I know of that you can buy FreeBSD CDs is from micromail in cork, http://www.micromail.ie/

    I installed my current workstation from 194.125.133.8 (ftp.indigo.ie), which may be of use if you have a fast connection ...

    As for X, it works grand for me, and I've seen it looking very pretty with windowmanagers such as enlightenment. You may want to check out your graphics card compatibility of course.

    Well seeing as I just got quoted £77 for Suse 7 professional I think it's time for a change. I could do with the small price increases in Linux but it's starting to get ridiculous.

    Ya don't need any of that bolochs. I mean 77 quid for a distribution is stupid. You will most likely only use the one cd.
