Is that irritating Firefox Quality Agent popping up or anything? Cos that used to always happen me on some sites. And it'd shut down then.

  • i suggest getting the ieview extension as a temp solution. This allows you to open these pages in Internet Explorer.

no, i got rid of that quality agent thing.its just when i click on certain stuff, the window just completly closes.im not sure what the ieexplorer thing youre talking about is to be honest.im using ie now but i obviously prefer firefox.

  • i use firefox too, the ieview thing is good for when pages haven't been written properly and only work properly in Internet Explorer, you just right click the link and select "open in Interenet Explorer", it's essential cause there's so many poorly written sites out there!

Don't mean to hijack the thread but I've got a firefox problem too.
When ever I open a page with a java applet on it, it brings up the java console and crashes firefox. I tried to update the JRE but I can't open that in Firefox because the sun page uses java too.
If I try it in IE will it make a difference?

Ah that's right I knew there was something wrong with it in IE too. It makes you install an activeX protocol because I'm on SP2, when I tell it to install it nothing happens.
