    Sad news indeed.

Anyone know anything about the impact it'll have on the Finn brothers' Cork gig? Looks like they're doing they Royal Albert show is going ahead tonight but the remaining 3 nights look like they're in doubt.

Cork gig must be very unlikely now, if theres going to be a funeral service they'll surely be flying back to Australia/New Zealand.

Well best stay up for the Channel 4 Finn Brothers' gig tonight at 00:10 just in case.

You can 'take a walk' over to FrenzForum where there's a lot of memories and sentiments being shared.

All eyes on FinnBros.com for Sunday night (Neil Finn's posted a message). They're playing all of their RAH nights but a question mark over what happens afterwards.

The Finn Brother's upcoming shows have been rescheduled as follows:
Cork Opera House moves from 3 April to 15th April
Belfast Waterfront Hall moves from 4 April to 17th April

This is due to Neil and Tim returning to Australia tomorrow for Paul Hester's funeral.

Utterly sad news. Paul was a very good drummer, and anyone who saw him live with Crowded House joking and creating havoc knows he was a gas man.

I couldnt believe it when I heard it, its the ones you least suspect etc.

And just on the day I got the new Special Editition Finn Brothers album, which has a DVD which contains a live recording from Music Max in Australia, of "Weather with you" feating the late Paul Hester.

Well if you've never seen it before, now's a good time to speak up for your support of a DVD version of the Crowded House Farewell to the World concert in the Paul Hester forum on FrenzForum.com.

I found my VHS of this in my bro's house which I thought I lost in a house fire a few years ago. It's just the best. You'll be in tears at the end of it. Lots and lots of Paul banter (e.g. idea for a Crowded House edition condom and 'bullshi**ing about doing a solo album' because he has his own studio).

FrenzForum has close ties with the fan club and Peter Green (Gryphon) so it's within the realms of possibility to have the DVD released (it's planned at some stage anyway) and have the proceeds go towards the Mirabel Foundation for orphaned kids.

    Bad news for Cork/Belfast-ers:
FINN BROTHERS TOUR POSTPONED Tue, 05 Apr 2005

Following the tragic events of the past two weeks Neil Finn has been diagnosed as suffering from mental exhaustion and stress and is taking an immediate four week break from touring on doctor's advice.

All remaining dates of the European tour have been postponed and will be rescheduled with new dates to be announced in the next few days. Ticket holders should retain their tickets until the new dates are announced.

Please check www.finnbros.com regularly for further updates.

I know its kinda out of their control but its a bit annoying. The Opera House in Cork went and rang every ticket holder of the change of date and now this!! think i'll have my money back at this stage

In fairness, what a traumatic week for Neil. And you'd only want to see Neil give 100% at the concert, when he's feeling up to it.

Take as much time as required, squire.

    Very sad news about Paul.
I too was disappointed at the rescheduling of the Cork gig, but in the greater scheme of things I can appreiate what Neil and Tim are going thru'.

Looking forward to seeing the boys whenever they cam make it to Ireland

Should also add that they're playing Dublin the next night (20th). That's great that is. I don't suppose Ticketmaster will exchange Cork tix for Dublin.

Fantastic, I was hoping to go the Belfast gig... if they are in Dublin again... I'm there!

You can keep an eye out here for developments but it doesn't look like any firm decision has been made yet.
