    interesting site, wonder how it works. I didnt think you could search for text inside a gif image, or does it generate the gif image after it carries out its search?

    well for the BBC at least their website covers everything ceefax does, and more. it's not as simplified, I know and sometimes it's easier to find something on ceefax than on their website, but that's very rare.

    Its not infringing on copyright as it does not host any of their pages! They will have hard time doing it!

    Looks like it does. All images appear to be hosted on http://217.114.97.72 according to the properties for the image, which is the same IP used by the ceefax.tv site.

    Example

    The BBC don't supply a live feed of ceefax on the net afaik (it's been a few years since they dumped their text to web service) so if they're not hosting it where is it coming from?

    whats the point in it? you are on the INTERNET im sure you can find something you want without having to resort to cefax, dark ages tbh
