I'm wondering if anyone knows if the cable below is made or sold?

In theory it would work........ but I cant seem to find anyone that makes it..

Haven't seen a cable like that, but ... you could always make one yourself :p
or if not there are some USB A<->B adapters that might help you. It seems hub/switch is how they'd like you to do it rather than a double adapter. Maybe there's a reason for that.

Connect an MP4 player to a PC................................USB normal

Or to another player / camera / etc .........................USB small

Ill update the Pic if ya like, might explain it better than words.

EDIT < Pic updated, It might give a better idea of what im tryin to do >

The usb adapters I linked to above would do that job neater than a fiendish octopus cable would. Cheap as chips too.
Or are you planning on having the mp4 player connected to multiple devices at the same time and don't want the hassle of plugging cables in/out?

I have both cables needed, but I'd like them in one.

Convenience is all this is. Carrying around one cable rather than two.......

The player would be connected to one(pc) or the other(another player) seperately, rather than both at the same time.

I could make a 'Homemade' one I suppose?

Thats an option I'd thought about, but am only willing to do it if I confirm that it can't be bought anywhere?

I don't think what you're trying to do will actually work.

You want to connect two devices to one PC via a single cable is it? With one device having an A conenctor and the other having a B?

    No.

USB is a "host based" technology, ie. it NEEDS a host controller such as a PC to manage the connection.

You cannot plug two "non-controlling" devices together and expect them to work.

There are TWO exceptions to this
    1. Pictbridge - you can plug some digital cameras into some printers and print.
    2. USB-on-the-GO - this is a new USB technology which aims to do what you want. But I haven't seen it implemented anywhere yet.

Firewire is the best solution currently available - each device has a controller, that's why you can plug two firewire devices together (camcorder and hard disk etc.) and transfer data.

You'd need a little hub chip in the intermediate port. Could certainly be done, but I don't know if anyone HAS.

I think you're a bit ahead of the times with this, try ebay or mysticriver?

Can you view a computer from the H320-40 like you can from a the 320-40 from a computer?

USB on the go has beeen implemented on the Iriver H3XX series, its a handy feature,

Yes you can, if you have USB on the go,

If those that dont understand............... im trying to get a cablle that will connect to a PC , OR , connect to another DAP!!

the ones that come with 2.5" drives are just for extra power, one connector provides data and power and the other provides just power, allowing usb powered drives to be powered off low power hubs, also some laptops dont put out enough power on the usb ports.

    i hope that makes sense
