looking at channel 770 on Sky it is €21.95

same as all other WWE PPV's. starts at midnight though instead of 1

21-22 euros from what I remember from smackdown tonight

Anyone else thing that it's fairly cheap? Weren't other ppv's more expensive than that recently?

Nope. That price seems about correct. They're all that price, as far as I can remember. It'll be worth the money, though. :D

It sounds good enough because its great to watch a PPV live... especially 'Mania... And don't ya get re-runs with it?

Will this be shown on Sky Sports 1,2 or 3 anytime after this? sometimes they show it a few days after.

I don't think so, it's strictly Box Office I think... You have to order it to see it. I just watched the short preview on digital and it looks good - I haven't been into wrestling at all for a few years but I'd always watch WrestleMania, and it's easy to catch up with whats going on....

PPV's are never repeated on the Sky Sports channels

repeats will be on Sky Box Office from Monday 9am to Wednesday 6pm

    Thats a very good question...

I don't see why not but it would probably cost more?

The whole SKY box office thing makes me think ya can't???

wrestling PPV's are available on NTL for the same price as Sky customers. i am 99% sure of this. dont know about repeats though

i dont have sky sports and have ordered wwe events on box office no problem before so you should be fine.

anyone know if you have to have a phone line connected to the digibox to order? i dont and i was just wondering if it was possible..

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 17,069 Mod ✭✭✭✭Gonzo

no you dont need your digibox connected to the phoneline to order, ive never had mine connected.. just ring the irish sky number (if you check it up on the digibox it will give you an old number and when you ring it, it tells you to ring a different number) you press the right selections using ur phone till u get to the wwe ordering area, then input your viewing card number using your keypad and event should be ordered... just make sure you ring from the phone number that sky has you listed from.

any idea when this will be repeated on box office for ntl? if i watched this on sun night then i would literally have to leave for work as soon as it finishes, but i aint gonna be doin that!

Also, when it's repeated, it will be shown 'as live' won't it, it won't be edited at all?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 181 ✭✭Droogie

I think that the Box office showing is the only "live" one, as yes, you're right, the others may be edited according to what happens...

The main thing that I want to see it for is the return of Austin!!!

I heard a rumour it will start at 2:00am instead of the usual 1:00am cause it's in hollywood. Can anyone confirm this?

I'm pretty sure it starts an hour before at midnight and not an hour after.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 181 ✭✭Droogie

    Its advertised as Midnight...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

    definately starts at midnight

live Sunday Night Heat at 11pm on Sky Sports 3

Would heat not be on before mania, so that's why it starts at 12? so heat would be unencrypted to try and persuade people to buy the ppv?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 181 ✭✭Droogie

How do ya mean by unencrypted?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,304 ✭✭✭oneofakind32

no WMXX started at 12 midnight lastyear with no sundaynight heat live at all. I recone heat will be on Sky Sports 3 at 11 as mensioned before with velocity (taped but still you can never get enough Paul London) at 10 hopefuly. Anyway looks like I wont be able to aford it Im flat broke after lastnight.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 28,128 ✭✭✭✭Mossy Monk

hopefully it will go on ages and they dont rush things

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 181 ✭✭Droogie

It goes on until 4am i think... Thats what its advertised as in the Sky Guide on Channel 770

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 535 ✭✭✭bonzai bob

Ok, i've used this to actually take a well needed break from work on Monday, so can i just get confirmation that this is DEFINITELY available on NTL digital? does anyone know the number i have to ring to get it?

    It will be midnight alright.

It doesnt matter where the PPVS are on in the states they are always on at 1am our time. but because wrestlemania is a 4 hour show it starts at mifnight...or at least think its going to be a 4 hour show.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 181 ✭✭Droogie

I just checked out the NTL website to see do they have it on PPV but it doesn't really say whether it does or not...

You're best bet would be to call them up and ask them on 1800 321 321 ...
I presume you'd be able to order the event from here as well..

Try that out I suppose before you book off work! ;)
