Im interested in becoming a trucker and would like some info.
Im talking about long haul driving, such as dublin to limerick, and maby the continent.
Firstly, what do you have to do to become a trucker? Do you join a company and do they give you training?
Whats the pay like? Rough annual salery?
Whats the job market like? Is it a stable job?
    Any other info appreciated.
    Cheers.

I don't wotk for a trucking firm but I suggest that you get your licence first. Few hauliers will "train you" as obtaining the licence is the training. The only training you'll get is in their own company proceedures. You might well want to start at the bottom in a larger transport company driving a van (which you can do on a B licence) where there might be opportunities for them to progress your career by paying for HGV lessons etc.
