I saw something last night which shocked me into setting up this thread. I was in Smyths Pub on Haddington Road in Dublin and I saw both barmen verbally abuse and push around a customer. I was in Smyths Pub on Haddington Road in Dublin and I saw both barmen verbally abuse and push around a customer. Now the customer was drunk, not too much of a shock in a pub, but he didn't seem aggressive; unlike the bar staff who seemed to me and my friends to be looking for a fight. Fortunately the customer walked away, we followed shortly and won't be back.

So that's my nomination for Bad Pub of 2005 - has anybody else got other suggestions?
