Go to www.dublinwaste.ie. All of the Dublin local authorities are doing a good offer to encourage recycling. You can pick one up in Ringsend or North Strand corpo depots for €8 - don't know whether you're suppossed to half bury in ground though. As far as I remember, Fingal have one that is on supports to allow you to turn it...for €60.

I know the enfo office sells them just off grafton street, near the tourist office-unsure of the type though, the last time i was in there the woman in front was asking and they said to her that they were on special offer-worth a look i suppose!

Dublin city council will deliver compost bins for 28 euro or only 8 euro if you collect it yourself. They are much more expensive in Woddies. I just bought an ordinary bin and cut the bottom out of it. Does the job and only cost me about a tenner.....

Thanks I just picked up mine for €8.00 in Ringsend depot. I also saw that Ringsend only charge €4.00 for dumping carload of rubbish whereas rip off Ballyogan charge €12.00
