Question about a socket 370 CPU

Hi - My CPU is running really hot and a reckon the fan or heatsink is knackered. It's a socket 370 CPU, and, from googling, it seems that a socket A cooling kit should be compatible with a socket 370 CPU. Can anyone tell me if this this correct? Thanks!
