Acer AL1914ms on amazon

    I just got some vouchers for amazon.co.uk from work and I thought I'd treat myself to a new monitor and decided to put the vouchers with some of my cash against a AL1914ms .. The problem is that reviews are thin on the ground, and I hate spending a lot of cash (or vouchers) on something only to find out there was a better one for a similar cost ....

    If you have bought one of these and play games on it, please give a review, or if you know of a excellent TFT monitor on amazon for around €300 to €340 let me know ....

    Specs of the AL1914ms are:
    19" screen format and rapid response rate of 12ms
    Contrast ratio of 500:1
    Brightness of 250 cd/m2 creates crisp images for enhanced legibility of even small font and scanned images
    Image smoothing and color scaling with automatic adjustments for a fast and easy personalization of view
    Reduced level of power consumption


    (EDIT - Yes i did look at the other 19" TFT thread, but you will notice that the prices of those units are significantly higher than my budget)
