    Hey,

I've been playing the guitar for a few years now and able to do chords and bar chords but i was one of these people who was afraid of the whole plucking thing until a friend gave me a boot up the a*s and told me to learn it. so i looked up the tabs to Blackbird and learnt it. Not that hard after all!! i was wondering does anyone know any other plucking songs that i could look up the tabs of and learn to pluck that are simple enough. i dont know whats difficult and whats easy. cheers!!

Try any Dire Straights, Mark Knoffler didnt use a pick, not exactly plucking but improves your fingerpicking none the less

stop calling it plucking  !! its fingerpicking.

i'd recommend some folk/blues. you ever heard of mississippi john hurt?
his stuff is relatively straightforward and sounds great.

john martyn was another serious plucker. check him out too.
