Irish Whip Wrestling was proud to hold its first annual Super Show this past Sunday (03/20) in the SFX Arena, Dublin. Here are the results:

'The Ladies Hero' Dave Zero def. 'The American Rockstar' CJ Summers

Zero, the Bitz Bay native, riled up the crowd as the show started, picking out individual members and making fun of their unfortunate features. This brought out Summers and the two proceeded to have a verbal joust that saw Summers actually bring into question whether 'The Ladies Hero' was truly American. In an exciting, back-and-forth bout, eventually it would be Zero who would pick up the victory with a Reverse DDT. Afterwards, Summers wanted another piece of Zero, who didn't appear to be much of a hero as he high-tailed it out of the arena.

Mad Man Manson def. Bam Katrazz

Returning to IwW after a tour that would see Mad Man Manson conquer America and New Zealand among other broad horizons, Bam Katrazz was the unfortunate victim of Manson's wrath. After hurting his ankle upon his entrance, Katrazz was easy pickings for Manson and soon ws forced to tap to the deadly Camel Clutch. The bell ringing didn't bring an end to Mad Man's onslaught however, as referee 'Chicken Run' Ger O'Brien would be his next victim with a vicious clothesline taking him out of action for the show's remainder.

'The Pukka One' Darren Burridge def. Chris Sabin

Burridge, head trainer of IwW's Frontier Gym training school, made his IwW debut and despite going up against formidable opposition in the ever-popular former TNA X Division Champion, Chris Sabin, managed to win fans and acclaim after this impressive contest. With both men reverting to a fantastic blend of holds and counters, Burridge's British style eventually won out over Sabin's high-flying antics to the crowd's shock and pleasure. In a rare display of sportsmanship after a match that would look comfortable on anyone's Match of the Year contenders list, Sabin and Burridge shook hands and celebrated an excellent show of athleticism and toughness.

Red Vinny def. Jody Fleisch, M-Dogg 20 and Johnny Storm in the first-ever Four Way Donnybrook

In an incredible match that stole the show, the legendary Jody Fleisch made his long anticipated return to Irish Whip Wrestling to compete in the first-ever Four Way Donnybrook that may well be IwW's single greatest match in the company's history. From bell to bell, both men put it all on the line for the fans' enjoyment, beating the hell into each other inside and outside of the ring (with many fans running for safety for fear they may be caught up in the mayhem). Eventually, it was young IwW star Red Vinny who would pull out the surprise victory when he rolled up an off-guard M-Dogg 20. After a fantastic bout, all four men held each other's hands up high to a 5-minute long standing ovation as the IwW fans showed their well-deserved appreciation.

    Seamus O'Shaugnessy def. Charlie Rage

Ireland faced England in the evening's fifth match, as the much-beloved hometown hero, S.O.S. took on the hated Charlie Rage. In an exciting bout, it would be S.O.S. that would pick up the win after hitting a Fireman's Carry/Neckbreaker variation to the joy of the crowd. S.O.S. celebrated another great victory by mounting the stage with an Irish flag held high above his head.

'The Phenomonal' AJ Styles def. 'Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels in a non-title contest

Finally, the main event. In front of a crowd split completely down the middle, with one side yelling for 'Fallen Angel' and the other 'AJ Styles' simultaneously, two of the best wrestlers to ever set foot in a ring commenced battle in a flawless contest. Having exchanged pinfalls all over the globe, it would be in IwW were Styles would eventually get his revenge on Daniels after the latter stole his X-Division Championship, when he hit a Styles Clash leaving not one single crowd member remaining in their seat. Styles would get on the mic when the match was finished and proclaim that Daniels could hold onto his X-Division Title, because Styles was now going for the World Heavyweight Championship!

IwW would like to thank their fans for attending and they hope and believe that every single fan was, on March 20th 2005, given a night that will never leave their memory.

If you would like to see the Super Show yourself, it was taped for The Wrestling Channel and will be appearing there shortly. It will also be available for purchase on DVD from the IwW website shortly.

But IwW isn't done yet. From Thursday 24th April until Monday 28th April IwW will be going on their first national tour of 2005, featuring the likes of Raven, Alex Shane, Johnny Storm, Red Vinny, SOS and many more. IwW will be appearing in The Forum, Waterford (Thursday 24th), Hudson Bay Hotel, Athlone (Friday 25th), The Ormand Hotel, Kilkenny (Saturday 26th), The Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise (Sunday 27th), Naas GAA Club (Monday 28th - 1.30pm) and Lucan Sarsfields' GAA Club (Monday 28th - 7.30pm).

IwW is going places folks. Don't believe it? Check it out for yourself. For more information on IwW, log onto www.irishwhipwrestling.com!
