Hi im not sure if im allowed to do this but i have to have a JSP project done for the work placement i am on and i really dont have a clue how to do it.

Its simple enough requirements, basic Content Managment System (MS Access) and be able to input and pull data out of it and use a 'controller' to run the whole thing. Im looking for this to be done in the next few days and i will pay 35Euro to whoever does it for me. Any takers please?

Do your own work. Read up on JSP...

Or tell them you are unable to do it and that your CV was a lie :D

*GAPES* 35 euro for a content management system?! You're one of these people who expects a Google clone for 100, right? And, erm, the reason you do work placement is to practice doing this stuff, right?

Don't be so cynical! He has to make a profit out of his days work :p

    Curious though....

The company that has hired him would think "Oh gee wiz he can JSP applications for us"

Wonder what he will pay for the next project.

Will you be paying that with a reality cheque? (groan) :o

Bit of a mad request in fairness...

Oh, why'd you have to go and tell him 'bout rentacoder? It'll only encourage him. If he can't do this stuff, better he either learns, or fails horribly and leaves the field. Otherwise, one day, he'll be writing software for nuclear missile control, or something, presumably by cut-and-paste.

In fairness you should have enough resources and time at your placement to learn it. I spent my time at DB Alliance, and while there I leanred Coldfusion from scratch, which went on to form my final year project..

Remind me not to hire you for any JSP coding work :D

I know of CMS products available that cost in the region of €200,000 - You won't get much for €35 lol

You shouldn't have taken the job then. It's people like you who make the industry look bad by handing in terrible code and do those who do know what they are doing out of jobs. I'd suggest a career with MS so you could just buy out other compaines instead of actually doing some work.

If i were you i'd either get some decent ethics or consider a career change. Some people actually have to work hard to get by. Maybe it's something to consider ???????

The problem is, stuff written by this general method tends to leak into the real world (see http://digilander.libero.it/chiediloapippo/Engineering/iarchitect/mshame.htm). If you're not ABLE to do this sort of thing, then DON'T DO IT.
