The fabulous Carnival Saloon are playing in Whelans on Thursday night. Tickets are €16 and definitely worth it. They are a Tom Waits Tribute Act who put on a show that is soo surreal. They have garbage cans they use for percussion, a demented front man that scarily sounds like Tom, and the keys are just psycho!! He has this weird stare, like a 1000 mile stare and... they're just great! Check it out.

KICK A$$ GIG! So, so good, he beat up a garbage can with a sledge hammer, cheaper than a guitar and sounds better too (surprisingly)

Carnival Saloon played Whelan's again last night and they were superb. A superb gig. Support acts were good, the first guy was excellent. Will definitely see them again.
