Does anyone know of any evidence showing that those who live in the West of Ireland have less stress than others in say Dublin?
    any info appreciated..

    cheers

Probably is true, easier way of life etc....but depends on a lot of things, I was far more stressed in Cork than I am here.

Galway's certainly the most laid back city in the country, don't know of any impirical evidence to back that up though!

One piece of anecdotal evidence though:

The HR department of one of the major banks in Ireland refer to Galway as "The Graveyard of Ambition" because people that move there for work will rarely request a promotion that involves leaving the city.
