Fiat X1/9 owners?

    I bought an '81 X1/9 rust collection recently and have started stripping it for a rebuild. There were a dozen of them at the Templeogue show last summer and I was under the impression there was an Irish X1/9 club but can't find it - anyone know if it exists outside my imagination? Any of you got X1/9 bits lying around or even a 1.5 ritmo carb you don't need? I am watching eBay but I need some heavy stuff and don't fancy paying postage on a bonnet from the UK!!

    You are not imagining it - there is an X1/9 owner club !
    (I have the ph number somewhere, I'll dig it out for you).

    BTW, I recall reading in a Classic Car mag that original hubcaps are difficult to get for x1/9's, but an owner in the UK found that a particular brand of paint tin lids are an exact match !
    He contacted the manufactuer of the paint and they sent him four new lids free of charge !!

    Thanks - these guys /\ are looking for a ball of money to access the interesting bits but most UK owners join just to get insurance discount so I ain't opening the childrens allowance just for this - I got more important stuff to spend money on (door seals..)

    @Silvera, I luckily have all four hubcaps, but they are held on with blu-tack!!
