De Lorean DMC12

With the passing of John De Lorean today, I thought it would be apt apt to discuss his legendary car - the De Lorean DMC12.

I've always liked the car (and plan to own one someday ).
While it's Renault/Volvo powerplant may not be up to much, it's still a cool looking car !

P.S. There is a red De Lorean on display in the Museum of Irish Transport, Killarney.

I suppose prices for DMC 12's will now rise that John Z has passed away.

Thanks for the link sentenal - I didn't know there was an Irish DeLorean site.

According to the site there is currently c.50 DeLoreans in Ireland - 38 in the North and 12 in the Republic.

Although that may not include the red model in the museum in Killarney
