How to convert VHS to DVD?

    Hi all,
I'd like to convert some of my old videos (stuff I've taped off TV etc) onto DVD. Problem is I don't have a DVD recorder. I only have a DVD player. Is there any way around this? Is there a cable or something I could buy for my PC or something that would do the job? Are there any places in Dublin that do it for a reasonable price?

    Cheers

    Nala

you can get a tv card for your pc [about 40eu for an internal, 70 for an external] and tune in the video channel on that.

thats what i do, definitley cheaper than getting someone on rip-off dublin to do it foe you,
and you can watch tv on the pc when your finished :)
