Who does the nicest breakfast? Burger King or McDonalds?

Normally would go to one or the other once every couple of weeks.

Hash browns - Burger King's are more plentiful and tastier than McDonalds'

But their egg/bacon/sausage thing in a muffin does not compare to McDonalds' Sausage and Egg McMuffin.

Coffee - about the same. both quite good.

    Orange Juice - McDonalds

On a separate issue can anyone recommend a good place in the city centre that does fresh full Irish breakfasts? I mean one which is cooked to order as opposed to being tired old rashers/sausages/eggs that have been there for hours.

Which is better for breakfast? 11 votes

Eurgh, the thought of those "sausage" burgerry muffin things is enough to make me wish there was a "neither" option but based purely on the Hash browns-Burger King.
To answer the other question I find a toasted bacon and cheese sandwhich from pretty much any sandwhich shop a good way to start the day. Probe also do a nice breakfast but you'll be waiting a while and it'll cost a good bit.

You shouldn't be having breakfast in either. Of all the meals people!

I rarely have time for a proper sit down breakfast so I make do with a roll or a coffee. Cafe Sofia on Wexford St. has been recommended to me by quiet a few people for it's breakfast.

I can't stand either of the chains in this poll, not for breakfast anyway.

Ughhhh. Why eat such crap for breakfast? Would rather go without food for the morning than eat that stuff.

Oh god what a choice, I choose neither!!

A Breakie Roll from the Centra across the road from work does the job on the extremely rare occasion I would eat something like that for breakfast.

Wouldn't go for either to be honest, but if I had to I'd choose McD

Best question so far. Especially seeing as the main subject question must be a joke...

Burger King kept me alive during the weekend of CONfess in Sligo. Mmm, bacon burger meals for breakfast. Perfect cure for a night's heavy drinking.

The only time I'll eat ANYTHING in McDonald's is that very rare occasion when it's been so long I wonder "was the food really THAT bad?". One order later, and I won't set foot in there for at least another year.
