Mozilla Firefox Flaws

OK! First i understand there has been loads of FF threads, i just didnt notice any with some flaws i noticed. Do any of you encounter these froblems?

*The updates dont seem to work/install:

When i click check for updates, it finds them, and when i select install it simply hangs there and does nothing. I have to d/l it from the main site.

    *Opening files

If you select to open a file with a certain type of program and hit the box "allways open this file with this program", the dialog box still opens in the future asking you what to open the file with, and the box is still marked.

    *Timeout dialog boxs

I dunno if this bothers people but this wreacks my head. If a page timesout a dialog box pops up which comes above other programs making you click ok. If i open a few new tabs and pages from a bunch of links and they all timeout i have about 10 boxs to press ok to. Im sorry, its just annoying. Gimme "this page cannot be displayed anyday tbh"

    *Opening new tabs/timeout

When you open a new link the address dosent appear until it connects to the page. If it timesout the address never appears, so you cant refresh it. grr

Anyone else find any more flaws? Am i just being picky?
I think FF rocks esp compared to IE. if they work out the few bugs it will be perfect. :)

I get that updates problem all the time, it used to work back in 0.9 iirc.

Timeout boxes piss me off too.

Also the problem with timeouts and vanishing addresses :(

Theres a way to stop the popup box so it just appears on the page and doesn' force you to click ok. Look around for that.

I think its this is how you do it. Type about:config in you address bar. Then find the string "browser.xul.error_pages.enabled" and change it to true.

You should post these issues either on the mozilla bug site (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/) or in the mozilla developers site (http://forums.mozillazine.org/index.php?). They will either give you an explanation to why things work the way they do or mark them for being fixed.

I agree with these two, absolutely.

Both are very annoying. Especially the second one, because I've usually lost the page that I got the link off in the first place.

Exactly, then your backtracing the original page and coping the link to the clipboard ect.

    GRR lol
