how about a fabric shop? maybe, most of them do stock some types of canvas i think. or else you could buy a big cheap streched canvas and then just cut it to the size you want.??

it's on that little pedestrian street between the Powerscourt and George's Street arcade.

30 cm is a narrow strip and they tend to sell stuff by the meter, but it's not expensive and they are very friendly in there.

There's also Evans' just off Capel Street. They're quite cheap and if you're a student they'll give you a 10% discount.
