I have a problem. When I click on a virus it says it's located in an archive and cannot be healed/moved to the vault. Can anyone help me?

you best delete that archive then mate. AVG is saying it cant do anything with the file in its present location, it may be inuse, if its not needed then you gotta get rid. you could try run your sytem in safe mode and delete the file without opening it. What did the database say about the virus. is it now in the virus vault??

i find it useful to have a couple of scanners running( AVG and Avast). while sometimes something will make it past one, the other almost always takes care of it.

Avast can also do a boot scan which should be able to sort you out.

    What is a boot scan?

Avast is only an 60-day trail.

No its not the home edition just requires that you register for a cdkey within 60 days but it costs nothing to get the key kinda like with the older versions of avg free where you had to register to get a cd key.

a boot scan means it starts scanning before windows loads.
