    All,

    Wonder if anyone can help me?
    I'm looking for a software solution that will generate a web based e-mail interface that will link to a in-house web-server. This in itself is not too difficult, however it needs an online sign-up facilty. I've found a few companies offering this sort of service however the whole lot is hosted on their servers and generally displays (their) banner adds, something we definetly do not want. Any help is greatly appreciated..

    you could try the open source communities -

    have a look at
    http://www.horde.org/imp/
    - a php based thingie to connect to your mail servers - it think that it's free too.

    go though the search results on freshmeat:
    http://freshmeat.net/search/?q=email

    there's some web based clients there
    at the very least you could find somthing that you could add to...
