Good news for fans of stand-up comedy...

I suspect this was part of an agreement to carry the new Irish opt-out of Paramount.

Incidently, I saw RTE's A Scare at Bedtime (Podge and Rodge) listed (very late night) on Paramount's EPG listing, though it doesn't seem to be scheduled at present.

This is all very well, but the thing that pisses me off royally is that we have to find out about new channels or channel changes either via this forum, or finding them "by accident" when scanning the channel list. Nary a mention on the website, the ntl bill, or anywhere on the epg.

Good point, the website is bloody useless and they must be one of the most secretive organisations around about their future plans. I will be glad to see the back of them in a few months!

In case anyone was confused at the lack of the channel, like me: I had to reset the box to get it (and I leave it plugged in/on all the time).

I'm on Multilink (MMDS) and I see we have also got E4+1 (110), UKTV Gold+1 (120), UKTV G2 (121), WLtv (123), Reality TV (126), Nick Replay (605) and Paramount 2, like you mention. I also only find out about new channels accidently. And I would prefer some real channels instead of the +1s.

I have no idea what this WLtv is. It is currently blank (like when part-time channels have their Intermission) and has no program info in the EPG. I'm getting the service from NTL in Waterford, so could it be Waterford Local TV?

    +1's on Multilink

thats a joke. how much space does it have

Also Attheraces #418 is free at the moment, NTL made it a subscription channel a few months after it was added.

Its not free. It's part of the basic digital pack. If it was free, it would work without a card, like tv3 and itv news.

Well I was trying to say no extra subscription is required, previously this was not the case.

No problem, I just thought I would clear that up for you.

Well NTL do it like any other company! You don't hear sky making public announcements / advertisements when their channel lineups increase or decrease or when channels start, shut down or change! Chorus are the same when new services are added, as are ntl in the UK (who only announce major channel launches) and telewest.

According to http://www.active-media-solutions.co.uk/wltv/default.asp WLtv is World Languages TV.
World Languages TV (WLTV) provides you with easy-to-understand information about receiving high quality foreign language digital satellite TV and radio channels in your home inexpensively.

Hundreds of 'free-to-air' channels are available to you without paying a monthly subscription and without an expensive motorised dish system.

Our customers are mainly people living in the UK who want to receive TV and radio channels from other countries for entertainment and information.

WLTV specialises in providing information to help customers who want to receive TV from other countries.

We do not handle enquiries concerning Sky subscription TV or BBC digital terrestrial FreeView.

I think it may have been nicked by someone then. Something has finally appeared on the EPG. WLR FM (Waterford Local Radio) supposed to be starting at 12 AM. So I assume it is being used as Waterford Local TV, probably to show that Waterford@8 thing they do which has been on NTL in the city but not on Multilink digital.
