I have recently moved house and I am now miles away from my old gym.
Anyone able to recommend a gym in the Nass, Kill kind of area? ( or on the N&7).
The gym review thread seems to miss out on this area

    Cheers

I have been in the Nass gym close to the town - its located in a very large estate and has the equipment hooked up to a computer system called Fitlinxx (excellent for tracking your progress).
Mainly focused on cardio equipment and weights machines with a very small free weights area. Nice pool and excellent changing rooms.

Yeah, that's Naas Health and Fitness. It's located in the Monread housing estate. I'm member and it's seems grand to me, never been to other gyms though.

It's probably the best one around. The new gym in the Osprey is decent enough but sorely lacking in a good selection of free weights and barbells, similar story with the new complex in the Johnstown House Hotel.

There's also a gym in the Killashee house hotel . The website isn't the best but it gives some info on it. I went out to look at it last year and thought it was good, as hotel gyms go. If you give them your name and address, or A name and address they post you out two comp. passes. I wasn't able to use mine but I thought that was a good idea. Pricewise I think it was reasonable, I can't remember offhand though.

The other gyms in the area are, as mentioned the one in the Osprey complex (LIFE) and the one down in Monread (Naas Health and Fitness). I haven't seen the Johnstown Inn one so I'm not sure about that one.
