all of sudden, it crashes every time after i login, why? why? why? it was ok this morning and before... thought it could be a msn network problem, but my mate's msn running fine... tried uninstall and re-installing but didn't work... anyone with the same issues at the moment?? it's better not caused by NTL again, after math of trouble last week!

Next time read the post before jumping to conclusions, Solitaryman666. Are you using the Beta? If so, try downloading 6.0 and see if that works, or vice-versa.

good lord.. it's working fine now... just don't understand what went wrong... logged in but the data traffic was flowing constantly and then msn crashed.. thought it's some kind of malicious virus or jamware...

MSN Messenger is odd. My friend is on Windows 98, has MSN 6, and all of a sudden it stopped working (wouldnt let him sign in). Uninstalled it and Re-installed it several times with no look. Now he cant use it, simply wont sign in for him.

Possibly spyware, he has a lot of it and refuses to even use FireFox (to slow apparently). And Ad-Aware cant get rid of the Spyware. Just keeps coming.
