    Not bad....not bad at all.

Be a month or two before I get a rig to match that.

very nice, what kind of benchmarks are ya getting out of the fx-53?

That is indeed a lovely build :) My plan is to get two Raptors during the summer and RAID 0 'em. How is the FX-53 performing? And how much overall is this system costing you?

I've never understood why people go into such unnecessary detail..

Why the need for 2 drives when one will suffice? Could save yourself a bit of money and put it towards another bigger HD. You'll fill those 2 raptors in no time

Can't say I like the case. I'd have gone Antec personally. Maybe something else but Antec would be a definate contender. AOpen have the odd one or two nice ones but I don't like that one myself. Antec have much better build quality too, in my opinion. (I own two AOpen's and have sold a number of others. I've only sold 2 Antec and I was incredibly impressed (same price pretty much also)).

Have you that machine built or have you just ordered everything? Cos the nForce4 board is dreadful for overclocking.

    Sweet.

I'd be interested to know your spend, though.

Not benchmarked that much, but Aquamark gave me some 75,000.

I use the DVD-ROM for ripping and playing and the 716A for burning. I don't find myself filling my drives too much with data, but at least i have the option of putting another two Raptors in for a four drive RAID 0 if nesscary.

I love that Aopen case, it support seven 80mm fans and is very big and roomey, i find the build quality excellent and removable motherboard tray/HDD/Floppy etc.

It's built, the nForce4 boards do overclock well, at least 250FSB. Mine is at 214 right now but will go higher.

Alot, though most of the parts were from a previous build. I bought a new mobo/CPU/heatsink and graphics card for this build. The Leadtek alone was some €500.

Do a search for overclocking the first nForce 4 boards. They're limited to 240. Mine won't post past 233.
