    Just on one of the topics above, I use EditPlus now a bit, but has anyone used that TextPad or the UltraEdit editor (which a friend of mine swears by)...

    most of our developers use UltraEdit32 - the only complaint seeming to be that it's a bit slow at times (scrolling especially) - seemingly because it's written using Java.

    I generally use EditPad - a much more basic Notepad replacement... not because I don't like UltraEdit, but because I'm too used to EditPad and it's own keyboard shortcuts at this stage to bother changing.
