Moving house

    I was wondering is it possible for me to take down the dish and put it up outside my new house ... ie. will it work?I dont have to ring sky do I? Is there any set procedure taking it down as Im on a third floor apt and will need to get a long ladder...I dont know how its attached to the wall until I get the ladder.....I was charged €100 just for Sky to get the long ladder int he first place!!!

    Why not ring $ky and ask if you feel their charge is excessive threaten unsubscribeing, they want to hold on to you longterm so they are always open to deals, if you are not happy ask to speak to with a supervisor.

    You could of bought your own ladder for that much and moved house as often as you wanted!!! :D

    if your are moving home you sky dish needs to be refitted by a reconised sky installer as your dish needs to be faceing from the south side of your home
    and all satalite installers use a digitalised metre if you are outside your 12months contract then you have to pay for the tecnician to remove your dish and relocate it to your new home norm charge for this is 150euro where it is cheaper to leave the dish where it is and get a new one and it would only cost 70 euro or cancel your old account and sign up again as a new customer and get it free if you have a phoneline

    not true. i cancelled when moving and they begged me to stay
    saying they would install new dish etc in new huse free.

    moral is just call and say you think you neec to cancel and thy might do it free
