I'm using NeroVision Express 3 to burn DVD's, I have it on at the moment to burn a movie to my hard disc first I just wanna see if it'll burn it in DVD format. I can't tell as yet, does anyone know if it will burn it in .vob or the format I imported the movie into NeroVision Express 3 which was .mp4

Use dvdshrink or dvddecryptor to put it on your hard drive.

Sorry for this attempted hijacking but i have a slight problem with nero and i didnt see the need to start a new thread, im using nero 6 ultra edition and ive just used it to burn an .iso image onto a dvd, the imager was 4.5 gigs, this is the first time ive done this with my new pc and it took almost an hour to burn the image to the dvd+r, im just wondering is there some setting in nero i could change to speed up the burnming process
The dvd burner will record at 8x dvd+r and the discs im using are 4x dvd+r, ive burned countless .iso's on my old comp(with the same burner)
The spec of my old pc was 1.7Cereron, WinXP Pro 384mb sdram
My new pc is an AMD 64 3000+ with 512mb ddr ram and WinXP pro

well if your media are only 4x you wont be able to speed up the process unless you use 8x media! I only thought that buring an iso at 4x takes just over half an hour! Correct me if I am wrong!? I used to use only 4x to burn iso's of about 4.5GB and cant ever remember it taking more than 35minutes to burn it! I could be wrong dough!

I know the burner is only as fast as the dvd+r im using, what is puzzling me is that it seems to be taking longer on my new pc that it did on my old one, thats why i thought it was some setting in nero that may be different

Nevermind guys it seems that the disks were only recording at 1.2x, looks like i got a bad batch of dvd+r's :(
