Does anyone know why this is so:
When you open a file whose name contains spaces, in Netscape, and you give it the full physical address i.e. file///D|//inetpub/wwwroot/spaces in it.htm
Netscape opens it. But if you are opening the file from a server i.e http://IPaddress/spaces in it.htm it won't work. It just gives an error about malformed syntax. IE has no problems with filenames containing spaces.

It should work if you replace the spaces with %20

URL's are technically not supposed to have any spaces in them so Netscape is actually doing the "right thing" in conforming to standards there, - albeit that that's not very helpful of it... Just do as Stephen said and replace the spaces with "%20"'s (or URLEncode it if your hyperlink is generated by ASP).
