Cubase VST 5.0 and Tascam US-428

Has anyone any information regarding setting up Cubase VST 5.0 with a Tascam US-428?

I was using the Tascam with an earlier version of VST and everything was working fine. I bought a new copy of VST 5.0, installed it on a test PC but I can't seem to get the DAW to communicate with the US-428.

The PC sees the Tascam because I can use it as a second sound card and I know that VST 5.0 is compatible with the US-428 cause I double checked before buying it. Does anyhow have any ideas or documentation that could help me out.

I've still got the old setup working fine on another PC, but I'd love to get this up and working asap.

Dunno, tbh. VST 5.0 was bugged to hell, try and get your hands on 5.1 if you can.
