Is the fact that the fujitsu siemens 7640 only having an "integrated" graphics card a problem?
beside that it looks very good except for battery life what do you think?

    D. Fitz, You are aware that the Keyboard Layout is German i.e. probably different to the one you are used to.

Great Value store but how do you know they deliver to Ireland?

I know the layout is different on keyboard but can get over that,
    yes they deliver for €49
but is it deff possible for me to reinstall windows xp and change the language?
or is there an easier way?

XP on new laptop will be German. This will probably have to be wiped off.

XP will have to be put on using "recovery cd" that shipped with your laptop.

Installtion takes around 50 mins after about 15minutes, in *most* cases XP asks you to define your region and language. Installation will resume in English.

Prices on first website are very tempting...second site more expensive.
Foreign language keyboard would drive me nuts...just think trying to get a presentation done in a hurry some Monday morning looking for letters on your
    keyboard....argh....

toshiba is the best of them as the 2 year warranty is international. also toshiba are very reliable.
    targas suffer from cracked hinges.
amd laptops have poor battery lifes.

toshiba is extremely good value. really is, keyboard layout is pretty much the same dont worry about it.

I was in there on saturday and thought the prices weren't too bad.. Saw a lovely HP machine with 12" screen with 80GB, 512MB, dvdrw etc for about 1449.. Did you see that one? Any chance you got a model number cos if its 1449 in there im sure it could be got for about 1000 online..
