    Hi there

Just wondering has anyone booked a visit to Euro Disney online and how to go about it. I have googled it and have tried some of them but one quote i got for 5 days for two adults and a kid (8) is nearly three grand.

Basically we just want to bring the little one there for a couple of days in a couple of months. Even three days. Does anyone know where i could arrange it all online?

    Thanks :)

You're probably better off staying outside disney & getting the train in (stops right outside it), it's not that big. Last summer we (two adults) did the two entire parks in 12 hours & that included going on several things a couple of times.

BTW how old is your child because anything less than three or four years of age you're pretty much wasting your cash.

To quote Robin Williams: To a three year old, Mickey Mouse is a six foot tall rat.

She will be 8 in May. It's my boyfriends little girl and he wants to bring her there before she gets "too old". Would it be a lot of hassle staying a bit away?

Nope, it wouldn't. There's a very frequent train service from the centre of Paris out to the front door or Euro Disney, takes about 35 minutes and costs about 10 euro return (I think).

8 is the ideal age for any child to go. There does be specials from time to time, , seriously though, you'd be far better getting the early train in and the late train back. You will literally save hundreds with the minor inconvience of a little travel.

My brother's stayed with his wife & 2 kids several times onsite, to "Keep the magic going" the only thing I can see is that you get the disney channel in the bedroom, otherwise it looks like a standard hotel. You can enter the park an hour before the gemneral public which gives you the benefit of being able to hit the big tides first.

Seriously though, prepare for all kinds of weather, (thunderstorms & blistering sun the day we were there), prepare for queue jumpers & to pay a fortune on food & drink. Also prepare to develop an obsession with all things Disney & to start saving for a trip to Orlando next year on your return...

There are a number of hotels (one is a Holiday Inn) 'outside the park' about a 5 min shuttle ride, check them on the Disney website then book them directly from their own websites. I did that with the Holiday Inn and got a geat deal

I'm going in Oct '05 with 6 other members of my family (only 2 of which are under 18). Try this link for the holiday inn http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/pardi?irs=null , i've got rates of €80 per room, which can hold up to 3 people. They do things on a per room basis, but if you book through the eurodisney site, its based on how many go, which makes things about three times dearer.

In terms of getting there, Aer Lingus are costing us €110 per person. You can go to Beauvais with Ryanair which may be cheaper, but is obviously that bit further away. One reason i'm not doing Beauvis is that last time i was there, the place got fogged in for my return journey, and we ended up in the car park at half past midnight with nowhere to go.
