I'm just wondering what you guys (especially 6th yrs) do after school, I know that quite a few of my year dropped out of sport this year to focus on school work and I was curious if that was a general thing.

I myself play hockey after school most days, I find it's a good break during the week from school work.

What do you do after school? 40 votes

    i still play sport...have training every mondays,tuesdays,thursdays, saturdays,sundays.
find it really hard though on school nights as i leave home at 6 and dont get home till 9.30 and im wreaked tired and then must turn into homework when all i want to do is go to bed so badly, i dont even get all my homework done not amind the whole "study" thing!!

then on the other days i just come home eat, turn on tv and stay there for the nyt..

neone else not think they doing a leaving cert this year, coz i certainly dont, crept up so fast on me...i remember my first day in secondary school, and it feels like yesterday!hehe!

dont know if anyone else feels like this but i cant do the study thing! im a crammer! im afraid i can only learn stuff if i have it the next day! im also a total procrastinist(sp?)! ne one got advise4me or am i lost cause? :)

Go to the library and study, then go out with the girlfriend. Some nights I'll go wrestling training.

Yup, my life in a paragraph.

i play hockey for school and club, but only have two matches left for school, bandon and wesley assuming they get to the cup final, club hockey runs a little longer
its good to relax and get ur mind off work but it does leave u with a little less time to study

Grinds most nights - an hour of that - then I go home and do another hour - then go out with friends for a while!

Grinds on wednesdays, any other days basically bum around, unless I've got a test of course, which means cramming. Not good really.

I gotta say I'm surprised with how few do sport after school and also with how many study. Anyone else finding it impossible to study now that the mocks are over?

I bum around most of the time.
Or if I have homework, I'll do it half-assedly.
And since I just got broadband, I've been playing loads of CS online.
Broadband will make me fail my LC :(.

I train in school and out, outside of school i dont find too bad cause its usually only bout a 90 minute training session 3 times a week, but sport in school as much as i love it is going to make me fail my leaving cause with all the blooming matches ive missed soo much class and we still have a few more to go before the leagues are over! Aswell as this im the worst at studying. I might be great one night and then not bother do anything for another month! I've got great intentions...if only i could just get started!!
