Cycling in Toronto - sounds like bliss

I came across this site this morning.
    http://www.toronto.ca/cycling/index.htm
They have cycle lanes, cycling courses (one is course is "quite often a requirement for jobs that involve cycling."!) and give awards to businesses that support and encourage cycling (One feature of the 2003 overwall winner, La Palette: "All employees cycle to work, none own a car").
    Refreshingly proactive.

You can even request that a metal post to lock your bike to be installed.
The stands are provided free of charge in response to requests received from businesses, residents and cyclists.

The site claims 900,000 cyclists, in a city with a population of 2.5 million.

I wonder is anyone from Toronoto giving a talk at Velo 2005?
