I've never been to Gatwick Airport and I've a flight due in at 9.30 and a connecting flight due out at 10.25. Is this enough time? I'm usally going through Heathrow where you need nearly a minimum of 2 hours to catch a connecting flight. Is 55 minutes enough in Gatwick?

Decided I won't chance it. I'll just head over the night before.

It might be ok if you were connecting to another flight in Gatwick, having checked your bags in for the entire journey in Dublin. But if you're flying Ryanair style, and have to pick up your bags, then re-check in etc it's probably not the best idea!

55 minutes is a tight one as the plane is usually ready to take off 15 minutes before its departure time. Also, if your flight from Dublin is delayed ur screwed
