    Recently I've had trouble with MSN myself. It seems quite "twitchy" of late, especially regarding file transfer. I find Skype more reliable IMHO.

    Sometimes i get signed off for no reason (internet connection is fine!). Maybe you need to download new version of it (that happened me!). Alternatives for using msn - google e-messenger or msn web messenger. Or there is a programme called Trillian where you can log into your yahoo,icq, msn and aol all from the same programme. Its good and you don't have to have admin privledges to download it - if you save it to your usb key or other storage device :)
