    Anyone see the Cork v Wexford match on the weekend?

    It was the best match I've seen in a very long time. Neck in neck all the way - cork edged a point up in the last coupla minutes to beat us yellabellys. We really deserved a draw, but hopefully the good performance will psyche the team up for the tipp game in 2 weeks.

    The cork boys had a near full strength team out there against our side that had 8 fairly green new guys. Compared to the drubbing we got in the last match with our "full strength" team in the championship, it was very encouraging to see the new lads not let the all ireland champs intimidate them.

    Appart from some dodgy referee decisions, the reffing of the match was really good. There was an awful lot of scuffles involving 3 or more players, but the ref didnt even tick anyone for them, he just calmed em down (slightly!) and let em get on with the game.

    Couldnt get over the amount of cork boys at the match - some supporters going all that way - the town was jammed up with C reg cars.

    Dont mean to be replying to my own messages here, but does anyone know are these "small" matches recorded or televised at all, or is it just a select few during the league?
