Setanta Query

    Guys,

    Is there any way to get Setanta channel if you don't have ntl, not signed to chorus, not on the sky platform ?

    Basically I get Rte/tv3/tg4 via aerial, get bbc,itv,ch4,ch5 via english ftv card.
    I have no sub to anyone. So I am assuming that there is no method of getting setanta, am i correct ?

    speaking of Setanta, did anyone notice the Milan Derby was FTV on Setanta Sports on Sunday evening? the game was also on Eurosport so after listening to the commentator on Setanta continually refer to AC Milan as "AC", I quickly switched back to Eurosport. Schoolboy error. AC Milan are known as "Milan" and Inter Milan as "Inter". AC stands for Athletic Club so it is like referring to Charlton Athletic as just "Athletic".

    I'm not sure if you could fire up an old Irish sub card (if you had one) and ring Setanta that way...

    i sure did. the AC thing annoyed me too plus there was no half time discussion from what i saw. Eurosport though did enough to make a dull game some bit interesting

    as for Setanta without the Sky sub. AFAIK Setanta do this with NASN so the best thing would be to contact Setanta and ask them

    No.
    You need to sub to sky or chrous as well as to setanta (what a joke)
