My elbow is bunched(fell going up the path on motorbike last year-my bad) and I want to get it checked out. Does anybody know roughly how much it costs to go to a physio?! Would I be better going to my GP and getting a referral or going straight to a physio!? I want to get it sorted and I'm worried if I go thru my GP he'll refer me to a specialist and I'll be waiting months... I am DEF going to get this checked out by a pro Mods so pls don't give out to me!! :D:D:D

go straight to a physio, can't tell you the cost as it depends on how many sessions will be required

I went last year to the physio with my ankle and it cost €50 a visit and I had to go 3 times. Id goto the doc first if I was you and he can tell you what needs to be done..

if you have health insurance, go to your GP.
they can then recommend you go to a specialist and get your health insurance to cover it.

cheers guys - zefer i'm going to take your advise cos I just realised i'd have to go in a week or 2 to get a new perscription anyways for my t-roid medicines - i'll go and get the perscription and see what he thinks of my arm too. :D

EDIT - WWM - I do have VHI and get €20 back for GP visits and the usual hospital stuff. I'll get €20 for a limit of 6 physio visits too :D

Yeah, go to your gp like WWM said. He can refer you for x-rays etc so you can have everything sorted before you get to a physio.
